Prayer of St. Francis de Sales

Be at peace.
Do not look forward in fear to the changes in life; rather, look to them with full hope as they arise.
God, whose very own you are, will deliver you from out of them. He has kept you hitherto, and He will lead you safely through all things; and when you cannot stand it, God will bury you in His arms.

Do not fear what may happen tomorrow; the same everlasting Father who cares for you today will take care of you then and every day. He will either shield you from suffering, or will give you unfailing strength to bear it.

Be at peace, and put aside all anxious thoughts and imagination.

St. Francis de Sales

What a nice surprise to open the blog and see such a beautiful prayer. Perhaps we can return the surprise.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Jenny,

So sorry that I haven't been able to talk with you, we are on our way home, a 2 day journey and I thought I would check in and see if you had added anything to the blog. I was heartened to see you are handling the most difficult of situations and circumstances with your usual grace and strength. You and the boys continue to be and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. I find myself often thinking back to our time in VA together and our growing families during that time. We wish we could be geographically closer to offer our support and have the dinners and time together that we had then. Our love to you all, hopefully I will talk with you later this week. Joy

God Bless you and keep you Seth. You will be missed brother. Everytime I fly over that grand canyon, I will continue to think of you. Stand relieved shipmate - and Rest in Peace.
